Reason for ban: Interupting admin situation, Bitching over steam and something else I think

How Long?: 3 - 5 weeks

When were you banned?: 3rd or 4th of oct

How is it unfair/wrong: Granted I deserve a punishment for bitching over steam to the owner, but let's be honest, I don't think I was overly rude about it, and in any case, this punishment is way to harsh, I don't have a transcript of what I said because Elmar removed me from steam after so I can't copypaste it. I don't think what I did what worthy of any more than a week ban if not less, I;
1) During a harsh dictatorship, shot through the window of a gunshop to comprehend and arrest said gunshop owner
2) Interupted an admin sitchuation, by which means when I burst into the shop to get him, it turns out amanda was teaching him how to use the keypad/fadingdoor tool, so she got mad for me interupting (why was she helping him make a gunshop if they were illegal anyway?)
3) Bitched over steam... A lot main reason being because yet again I was kicked from the server without being allowed to give my side, just kicked off because they were tired of me defending myself.
4) More bitching I guess.

The reason for me smashing the window and going to comprehend the gun dealer were perfectly legit. He was making a gun shop, guns were STRICTLY illegal. See any problem there? neither did I. I bitched over steam because my kick was totally uncalled for and It takes me like 2 minutes of mah precious time to connect again, and then after that, I wasn't just going to let elmar threaten me into not sticking up for myself with bans. "everytime you put something in chat I'm going to increase your ban" I think this is completely unfair staffing and an abuse of power on elmars part.

So when you knock it down, my ban reasons were breaking a window and defending myself. Three to Five week ban for that? Some would call that completely Unfair.

We have talked about this Octavian, in real life and over Steam (when I was online).

Shooting windows in any situation is failrp, if there is a open entrance. The door to the gunshop wasn't locked. Rule broken.
The gundealer was building, what you were essentially doing was raiding for illegal weaponry. Rule broken.
Metagame: there was no sign that the shop was a gundealer shop. You could not have possibly known he was a gundealer. And don't give me that list bs, you didn't roleplay out looking at this 'list' and you didn't know/ask the gundealer's name anyway. Rule broken.
Lastly the gundealer was making this shop before the dictatorship was announced, neither him nor me had any idea of the events occuring on the street outside aside from law making.

You need to control your attitude Octavian. I was listening to you and when it was your turn you were exceptionally rude as Jay Smalley can speak up on.

You see, this rule is tricky, someone could bend this rule and say that you can't assassinate the president because you have no idea he's the president due to metagaming, and on that note the "list bs" is perfectly valid, saying that the government wouldn't know what kind of shop is being built two doors away from them is complete trash, the govement is involved in real life when any non illegal buissness goes up, as you said you started before the dictatorship so it would have been known, no to mention everyone in the shop was talking about guns and selling them and whatnotelse.

There were two broadcasts done by the mayor Dimitri mclovin, he said that all citizens needed to read the rules (that were OPPOSITE the shop, then that the laws would be put into effect in 2 minutes, after wating a whole 3 minutes for him to shutdown the shop, I decided to stop him. You had plenty of warning.

If listening to me was interupting me every 4 seconds then yes, you did listen to me. That was sarcasm, you did not listen to me at all untill I turned around and starting talking to jay about you not listening to me, THEN you listened.

The list, you did not roleplay out. You didn' even ASK what the gundealer's name was! You just walked in and said 'You're breaking the law!' Thats how you avoid the metagame.
'Everyone in the shop was talking about guns' By everyone, me Brick and the gundealer? And we were fixing a door I broke.
The whole broadcast thing, yes we were warned I remember now, but I wanted the guy to.make the decision about whether to continue with the gunshop, and he didn't acknowledge the broadcast.
Yes I did interrupt you, but I let you have your say, and when I was saying my opinion you THEN go and turn to Jay and completely ignore me.
Also you can't bitch at people over steam simply because you didn't get what you wanted. You need a better attitude.

If I was going to rp it out, which we'll never know now, I would have, but someone threw me out of the shop with the physgun as soon as I walked through the window, it's not like I was going to kill him or instant arrest him, I was apprehending the suspect.

"I remember now" to be perfectly honest you seem to forget quite a few details, like in my hostage situation, where you forgot that the lambra is a terrorist sign, or with the sliding door, where you forgot that it can be opened with out glitches or gravity guns. Please think about what actually happened before you say stuff like this. Also it's not my fault he refused to acknowledge a broadcast, Ignorance is not an excuse

Me, Brick and the gundealer were talking ABOUT THE DOOR. I was apologising as I broke it whilst showing him how to make a fading door in front of a door (explaining double dooring etc).
Gundealer's actions completely out of my control. I went to help him with a fading door, so I did. The whole broadcast thing and the fact that it was a gunshop does not affect me being there.
I am no longer going to post on this subject as Elmar needs to have his say.

I was not there when this happened whether it was fair or not you only made things worse by bitching,i'm not saying don't tell your side i'm saying don't make things worse however you're ban was already reduced from permanent i think.
